Growing & using Siberian Catmint

Nepeta siberica bush in early spring

The red stems and the blue-green leaves of Siberian Catmint smell lusciously like cinnamon. Not terribly attractive to cats, but related to Catnip, Siberian Catmint blooms a light lilac in early to mid spring. It dies back to the ground in winter but returns to delight each spring.
