Mountain Valley Growers is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, or who navigate by keyboard alone.

Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.

What we do

• Every code change is checked against accessibility linting rules before it ships.
• Each deployment of the site is automatically audited with axe-core across representative pages, and the build fails if violations are found.
• The shopping flow — from product page through cart and checkout — is exercised by an automated keyboard-only test on every deployment, so we know the whole purchase path works without a mouse.
• We review color contrast, heading structure, image descriptions, and form labels as part of ongoing maintenance.

Known limitations

Our checkout uses a third-party payment service to keep your card details secure. We monitor it for accessibility, but its form fields are maintained by the payment provider rather than by us.
