MegaGarden Hydroponic System

This is one of Hydrofarms highest performance systems that is available for the home gardener.

The MegaGarden Hydroponic System includes a 7.5 gallon  reservoir, an insert grow tray, a submersible pump and timer, seed starter cubes, water level indicator, growing medium and 15 5.5 inch square planters, nutrient, pH test kit and illustrated instructions. The components are guaranteed to work for the original owner for a full year. This includes the pump, reservoir, and irrigation parts. Nutrient and rockwool are not covered. Misuse, abuse or failure to follow instructions are not covered. If you have a problem, contact us and we will issue a return authorization number. Save your invoice: a copy is required for all warranty work.

WaterFarm Hydroponic System

The WaterFarm Hydroponic Sytem, with its large water capacity and low water requirements, is simple and efficient. It will grow small, medium or large plants and is expandable. It measures one foot by one foot and is made of  high-impact plastic to insure a long service life. The WaterFarm's unique square design allows growers to closely set up other WaterFarm units to create large, high-density installations.  

WaterFarm 8 Pack

Kick it up a notch with the WaterFarm 8 Pack Hydroponic System. This unit has eight  of the WaterFarm module units above connected to one General Hydroponics controller. The brain of this unit has an integrated 13 gallon reservoir and an 8 gallon controller unit which will keep each unit topped off with the correct level of nutrient for low maintenance and ease of use. The kit is powered by a dual diaphragm air pump, and includes all the necessary hardware, supplies and  nutrients.

The grower can arrange the WaterFarm units in a design that is suitable for any environment. Pack them tight or space them out for your growing situation. This system does not include Hydroton (the growing medium; see below).

Hydroton Hydroponic
Growing Medium

Hydroton is an "expanded clay," a lightweight gravel which is manufactured specifically for hydroponic cultivation. Hydroton  is manufactured in  Okotau, Germany the source of the finest quality expanded clay in the world. This media is the first choice for many commercial growers specializing in flower and vegetable cultivation. Not to be confused with many other kinds of expanded clay which look similar but which are often toxic, Hydroton is pH stabilized and releases practically no minerals into the nutrient stream; in other words Hydroton is almost completely inert. It offers excellent moisture and oxygen capacity to stimulate healthy root development and sturdy shoot growth.
