This fast growing vine begins growth at the ground each year and can fill a trellis in weeks. Hop flowers decorate the vine until it is removed for the season. Hops are available starting June 1.

Golden leaves shine when planted against a tree or other greener plants. A smaller version of regular hops, this plant makes a good choice for smaller areas.

Round leaves 2 in. in diameter form along creeping stems. Unusual plant for shady areas. This herb is reputedly good for improving memory. Perhaps that is why elephants are thought to have a good memory, because they graze on this wetland plant.
