PLANT SIZES

All varieties are available in 2 3/4 inch pots. The nursery industry calls this size a 3 inch pot.		And, some varieties are also available in plug trays.
PLANT PRICES
3 INCH POTS: Plants (unless otherwise noted) are $4.50 each. HERB GARDEN SIX PACKS AND KITS: 28.95 AND UP. HERB ASSORTMENT 36 PACKS: 59.40 each	PLUG TRAYS: 128 plants all the same kind of plant for 62.40. Each plug is .52. We include 8 plugs free. Plug trays are ordered through our Mail or Fax form only.
PLANT MINIMUM ORDER
3 INCH POTS: Any six 3 inch pots of like or assorted plants to one address (total must be 27.00), or One Herb Garden Six Pack, or One Herb Assortment 36 pack.	PLUG TRAYS: One plug tray. Plug tray plants are each 3/4inch square by 1inch deep and each tray has 128 of the same kind of plant.

	QUICK GUIDE FOR ORDERING TO ORDER POTS, HERB GARDENS AND HERB ASSORTMENTS: Check the online availability list for pots. Choose your plant section on the Secure Order Form. Add the quantity desired to your cart. Choose your state and click update. This will allow the cart to calculate shipping as you add items to your cart. Tax on California orders will be added after you fill in your name and address. Under payment method on the address portion of the order form you can choose to complete the order online with your credit card, or phone in your credit card number or send a check. TO ORDER PLUG TRAYS: Check the online availability list for plugs. At this time Plug Trays may be ordered only by phone, or fax. Use this printable order form for faxing. SUBSTITUTIONS: No substitutions are made unless you indicate them in the comments box at the end of the online form. TO ORDER GARDEN SUPPLIES: Garden supplies and plants are put into separate shopping carts. Both carts are viewable on each check cart page found at the top of every page of the web site. There is no minimum for garden supplies. PAYMENT: We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express. We also accept checks and money orders. There will be a 7 to 10 delay for a check to clear the bank. There are no additional minimum order requirements for charges. No refund will be made for amounts less than $2.00, but will remain on your account until the end of the calendar year. SHIPPING:
		Shipping for pots is calculated as you add items to your cart. Delivery is by UPS Ground service to 10 western states AZ, CA, CO, ID, MT, NV, OR, UT, WA and WY. All of these western states, except California, may also choose the option for 2 day air delivery. This option is presented to you after you fill in your name and address and click continue.
	Other continental US destinations, Alaska and Hawaii travel UPS 2 day. Some parts of Hawaii and Alaska can only travel overnight. If we find that your shipping is incorrect, we will notify you by email so you can decide if you want to continue. Plants travel on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday only (depending on your location). Please allow one to two working days for your order to be processed as well as the delivery time. It is necessary to use your physical street address; UPS cannot deliver to a P.O. Box. If the package is to be delivered to an apartment, UPS automatically requires a signature. Please make sure to take this into consideration when you order. Orders are shipped on an ASAP basis, usually the week after we receive your order. High volume or adverse weather conditions may delay your order. Early spring orders to cold winter areas will receive an email order acknowledgment indicating the expected ship date. SHIPPING ON PLUG TRAYS: TO CA, OR, WA, ID, WY, MT, NV, UT, CO, AZ 10.00 PER PLUG BOX (which can hold one or two trays) These states (except for California) can also choose 2 day air delivery for 40.00 per box. ALL OTHER CONTINENTAL US LOCATIONS: ADD 40.00 PER PLUG BOX FOR 2 DAY SHIPPING. Alaska and Hawaii may differ. Please email or call for a quote. Garden supplies can ship ground anywhere in the Continental U.S. Some items are shipped by ground only. This will be noted on the descriptive pages for the particular item. 		In 1983, *Mountain Valley Growers* was incorporated with the goal of providing organically grown pots of herbs to retail nurseries and grocery stores. There were a whopping 7 varieties then. In 1990, we brought these same plants to the retail consumer through mail order. By then we supplied about 300 varieties. In 1992, we began publishing a quarterly newsletter, Mountain Valley Views, to inform and share our experiences with others. In 1993, our specialty herb gardens hit the market to make choosing from so many plants a cinch. In 1995, we began drop-shipping organic plants for other companies.
	By 1997, the internet was a reality and we introduced ourselves online with over 200 pages of information and photos. In 1998, the nursery, in keeping with its original goals, became certified organic and we launched our newsletter via email. 2000 saw the creation of a weekly availability list that made getting the plants you wanted when you wanted them even easier. In 2002, we became certified organic by the USDA; our website contained over 450 pages; and our varieties numbered near 400. In 2004, we expanded our Grower's Assortments to offer more plants at great prices, added Certified Organic Basil Seed Kits, and paired our Specialty Herb Gardens with Special Books. In 2006, we became the first nursery to offer certified organic strawberry plants by mail. In 2008, we created our Organic Farmstand Collection of Vegetables, a line of over 40 organically grown vegetable plants. We continue to add new and exciting plants, review books and products. And, we add only those we know will help you garden successfully, because they have helped us to do so.
